Ethics are important aren't they? We're not going to get all high and mighty about it cos we're certainly not perfect - however we do try and do our bit. When we started Invisible Friend in 2007 we were determined that a) we wouldn't use any garments produced in sweatshops (unlike many of our high street competitors) and b) we'd only use water-based, ecologically friendly inks.

The clothing industry is one of the world's most environmentally damaging industries and we were determined to find a supplier whose core values matched our own. Happily we did, and consequently all of our garments are ethically sourced, sustainable, and produced in factories with good working conditions. More importantly they fit really well and look really cool.

Similarly all of our garments are printed using water-based inks that contain no harmful ingredients, unlike the pvc-based plastisol inks used in the majority of screenprinting. Totally non-toxic and just as durable and rich in colour as more harmful inks - it's a massive step forward.

There's no reason why you can't look good and feel good about yourself while you're at it is there?
